Bauder Scholars Program: Empowering Our Future Leaders

Beat the Streets Baltimore is proud to announce the Bauder Scholars Program, made possible through a generous endowment from the Bauder organization. This endowment will provide 5 full scholarships annually, each valued at $600, to support the academic and athletic development of our most promising student-athletes.

Program Goals

One of the core objectives of the Bauder Scholars Program is to achieve significant academic growth in a short period. Our goal is for each scholar to achieve one year of academic growth in just three months in both Math and English Language Arts (ELA). This ambitious target is supported by comprehensive analytics and data that track each student’s progress and tailor interventions to their needs.

Utilization of Funds

The Bauder Scholars Program offers 100% scholarship coverage, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder our students’ progress. The scholarships will cover:

Three Months of Support with Progress Monitoring: Each Bauder Scholar will receive three months of intensive academic support, including ongoing progress monitoring to track their achievements and areas for improvement.
Customized Learning Program: Tailored educational plans will be developed for each scholar, ensuring their unique learning needs are met through personalized interventions.
Academic Interventions and Personalized Learning: The scholarship exclusively funds participation in Mwerevu Education’s academic intervention programs, which provide one-on-one academic support designed to enhance student performance. Our program utilizes evidence-based software to deliver customized education support, further enhanced by outstanding academic interventions from our partner institutions in Kenya, Ghana, and Costa Rica.
